Rules

Each institution is represented by a team of two speakers.
One English speaker and one Urdu speaker per team.
Each team competes in cross categories: one Serious and one Humorous; one in Urdu and the other in English.
A team cannot have two speakers of the same language.
Speakers may agree or disagree with the given topic.
No derogatory remarks against the chair.
Time: 3–4 minutes per speaker. First bell at 3 minutes; second bell at 4 minutes. Exceeding time incurs negative marks.
No political or inappropriate comments on stage.
Maintain decorum at the venue. Audience interruptions are forbidden.
Violations lead to immediate removal and strict action.
Host university’s interpretation of rules is final, including unforeseen situations.
Original oration is required; do not mimic others.
Names will be called thrice; failure to show results in forfeiture of turn.
Winners are decided based on total marks awarded by the jury.
