اردو — مزاحیہ موضوعات

Rules

  • Each institution is represented by a team of two speakers.
  • One English speaker and one Urdu speaker per team.
  • Each team competes in cross categories: one Serious and one Humorous; one in Urdu and the other in English.
  • A team cannot have two speakers of the same language.
  • Speakers may agree or disagree with the given topic.
  • No derogatory remarks against the chair.
  • Time: 3–4 minutes per speaker. First bell at 3 minutes; second bell at 4 minutes. Exceeding time incurs negative marks.
  • No political or inappropriate comments on stage.
  • Maintain decorum at the venue. Audience interruptions are forbidden.
  • Violations lead to immediate removal and strict action.
  • Host university’s interpretation of rules is final, including unforeseen situations.
  • Original oration is required; do not mimic others.
  • Names will be called thrice; failure to show results in forfeiture of turn.
  • Winners are decided based on total marks awarded by the jury.
